Established in 1993, Steve Moody Micro Services (SMMS) is a fully independent and accredited testing laboratory specializing in asbestos, mold and micro-analytical testing services. The laboratory is equipped with state of the art instrumentation and laboratory information systems, and is staffed with experienced technical professionals. SMMS employees each possess a strong commitment to integrity, quality and customer service.
The SMMS laboratory has the capacity and facilities to respond to your needs. We currently have 18 employees and occupy 4500 square feet of laboratory space, within the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex, in Farmers Branch, Texas. In 2008 and 2009, SMMS supplied laboratory services for more than 20,000 projects. This included analysis of over 200,000 asbestos samples by PLM, 5,000 asbestos samples by TEM, 2,000 air samples by PCM, and 8,000 samples for mold analyses.

The laboratory is staffed 6 days per week and is available for emergency work at any hour. The SMMS Laboratory staff can always be reached by cell phone.
